We are raising to do food supply in 5 villages (Veeralur, Devanur, Vellarai, Nagamalai, Vettrikaadu) in Madurantakam, Chengalpattu district with a total of around 375 families. All these families are dependent on Agriculture and are mostly farmers.
You could make a difference if you could support the starving families by providing a 25 kg rice bag. Rice costs around Rs.50 per kg and so, a rice bag of 25 kg costs around Rs. 1250. A rice mill owner is willing to help in this situation and He's offering a bag for the reduced price of Rs. 1000. So, a total of 375 rice bags of 25 kg each will come to Rs. 375,000 which is approximately $4958.
