Due to the pandemic and the schools closing, children in Kavanur, TamilNadu have had their education interrupted. While we in the USA had online schools, they don't have access to online software such as zoom to connect with their teachers. Educate a Child aims to connect the child to volunteer teachers and volunteer tutors to help them learn what they might have missed due to the pandemic. The facility in which they will learn has a computer connected to a projector where the volunteers can connect to teach and answer questions and many books for the kids to read and for the teachers to teach from.
Where will the donations/funding go?
The money will be used towards paying for, building the facility, electricity, internet, books, computer, projector, and desks.
