I am seeking your support in advancing a passion project dedicated to promoting dental health and expanding access to care for local communities. This initiative is centered on two primary goals:
- Promoting dental hygiene awareness among young students through structured, educational sessions—held at Urban Revival in New Brunswick, NJ, and at Bethany English Medium School in Kerala, India. The session encourages healthy oral care habits from an early age.
- Supporting the Helping Hands Hospital Dental Ministry, an organization committed to providing free or low-cost dental services to individuals and families in need.
Dental health is a critical yet often neglected aspect of overall well-being. Poor oral hygiene in childhood can have long-term consequences, affecting both health outcomes and self-confidence. By focusing on prevention through education and extending support to a ministry that offers vital care, this project addresses both immediate and lasting community needs.
In addition to these efforts, I am also working to raise funds for the purchase of a new dental chair and x-ray machine for the Helping Hands Hospital Dental Ministry. This essential piece of equipment will greatly expand their capacity to provide treatment, allowing them to serve more patients effectively.
The funding goal for this initiative is ₹35000, which will be allocated toward:
- - The development and distribution of educational materials
- - Procurement of dental kits and supplies for participating students
- - Funding for a dental chair, compressor, and dental instruments needed by the Helping Hands Dental Ministry
